In 1981, Lesaffre’s iconic Swallow brand yeast was among the first to enter the Chinese market. With a commitment to quality and a focus on innovation, Lesaffre has rapidly expanded its investment in China, offering a wide range of baking products while actively providing tailored solutions for customers and driving the development of the domestic yeast industry.
Today, Lesaffre operates six manufacturing sites in China, along with four major baking centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, employing over 1,500 people.
Looking ahead, Lesaffre aims to deliver even greater value to Chinese customers—not only in the field of baking, but also in food flavoring, animal nutrition and health, and bioscience-based nutrition.
